Orange Grove extended their postseason success on Friday against Lyford. They blew past Lyford 11-1. Orange Grove might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Daniel Martinez was incredible, going 1-for-5 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Hughes Klatt was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.

The win was the fourth in a row for Orange Grove, bringing their record up to 18-10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Lyford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-10.

As of now, neither Orange Grove nor Lyford have any future games scheduled.
