Volleyball Recap: UMS-Wright Prep Takes a Loss

UMS-Wright Prep came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered against the Wildcats since October 7, 2020.

While UMS-Wright Prep was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-20, 25-12.

UMS-Wright Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 19-11. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, their victory bumped their record up to 22-12.

UMS-Wright Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, they will square off against Albertville at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Aggies will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
