Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Tahoma's Tenth in Last 13 Outings

Tahoma won the last time they faced Stadium and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bears came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1.

Tahoma had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-15, 25-18, 25-9.

Tahoma was led to victory by Lyla Battey and Brooklyn Stafford. Battey had nine digs and one assist, while Stafford hit 80% for 12 kills and three blocks. That's the most digs Battey has posted since back in September.

Tahoma was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in four consecutive matches.

Tahoma is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8-1 record this season. As for Stadium, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Coming up, Tahoma will venture away from home to square off against Auburn Riverside at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Stadium does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
