Baseball Recap: Coahoma Has No Trouble Against Colorado

The matchup between Coahoma and Colorado on Monday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Coahoma Bulldogs never let the Colorado Wolves get on the board and left with a 21-0 win. That 21 run margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Wyatt Oden was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in earned runs (zero). He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Theron Ott, who scored three runs while going 3-for-5. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Davis, who scored four runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

Coahoma always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Coahoma now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Colorado, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Coahoma will face off against Westbrook at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Colorado, they will square off against Tulia at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
