Preview: Winston Academy Patriots vs. St. Aloysius Flashes
Winston Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against The St. Aloysius Flashes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Aloysius took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Winston Academy, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Winston Academy strolled past Wayne Academy with points to spare, taking the game 40-22.
Omar Scott continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 289 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. Scott is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played. Will Chancellor also helped out as he racked up 104 rushing yards.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to St. Aloysius, who are still winless after their ninth matchup. They had to suffer through a rough 53-14 loss at the hands of Manchester Academy.
Winston Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for St. Aloysius, their loss was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9.
