Basketball Recap: Argonia Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Corben Koehler and Maddex Hemberger + How To Watch

Argonia and Cunningham pushed the score to 77-37 the last time they played Cunningham, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Raiders took a 32-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Maddex Hemberger and Corben Koehler certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Hemberger posted nine points and five steals, while Koehler earned five points along with seven boards and three steals. Koehler is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Vineyard, who had five points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

Argonia's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Cunningham, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Argonia will take on South Barber in a holiday battle at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cunningham, they will head out to square off against Chaparral on Friday.
