Football Recap: Greenville Christian Comes Up Short

Greenville Christian lost against Fannindel back in October of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles were dealt a 75-30 defeat at the hands of the Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Falcons are ranked 16th).

Greenville Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Fannindel, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Greenville Christian and Fannindel will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time Greenville Christian sees the field they'll take on Texoma Christian at 6:30 p.m. on the 25th. As for Fannindel, their break will end when they face Trinidad at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
