Soccer Game Preview: South Sevier vs. Grand County

South Sevier is 0-10 against Grand County since March of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. South Sevier is taking a road trip to square off against Grand County at 4:00 p.m. South Sevier will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

South Sevier will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Millard, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. South Sevier blew past Millard 9-2 on Tuesday. Peyton Gibson was a massive factor in the win as he booted in seven goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Grand County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Gunnison Valley a 1-0 shutout. Grand County haven't had any issues with Gunnison Valley recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The victory got South Sevier back to even at 4-4. As for Grand County, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
