Basketball Recap: Eastside Takes a Loss

Eastside and Mulberry squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Eastside had to settle for second. They took a 57-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mulberry Panthers.

Eastside's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Mulberry, their win bumped their record up to 18-2.

Eastside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mulberry, they will square off against Bishop Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Bishop Moore's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
