Mission San Jose took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 72-60 win over Watsonville.

Meanwhile, Lowell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Palo Alto. The match marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Mission San Jose's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Lowell, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
