Basketball Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short

Greenville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 57-27 loss at the hands of the Sunset Bison. The Lions lost against the Bison in their previous head to head back in December of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 37-30 score last time.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sunset, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Greenville will square off against Caddo Mills at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Sunset, they will take on Nimitz at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday.
