Basketball Recap: Four Straight Home Wins for Apopka

Apopka extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Amirah Nurse. The Apopka Blue Darters blew past the Olympia Titans, posting a 59-11 victory thanks in part to Nurse, who dropped a triple-double on 12 points, 13 boards, and 12 steals. Those 12 steals gave her a new career-high.

Another player making a difference was Jhenelle Francis, who posted eight points. Francis is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Apopka is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season. As for Olympia, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
