James Madison won the last time they faced Meridian and things went their way on Wednesday too. The James Madison Warhawks walked away with a 40-32 win over the Meridian Mustangs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warhawks.

Meridian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nora Stufft, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards. With that strong performance, Stufft is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. Charlotte Lieu was another key player, putting up eight points.

James Madison now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Meridian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

James Madison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 45-29 victory against George C. Marshall on the 13th. As for Meridian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-13 win against Fauquier on the 13th.
