Soccer Game Preview: Chapin vs. Jefferson

The Chapin Huskies will head out on the road to square off against the Jefferson Silver Foxes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chapin has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the second.

Last Tuesday, Chapin didn't have quite enough to beat El Paso and fell 3-2. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 482nd, while the Tigers are ranked 143rd).

Meanwhile, Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Burges.

Jefferson's goal came courtesy of Luis Trejo, who's now up to two this season.

Chapin's loss dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1.
