Basketball Recap: Adair County Gets the Win

Adair County lost to Cumberland County back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Indians secured a 71-66 W over the Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Tylin George went supernova, going 13-for-22 on his way to 33 points and five assists. John Shehan was another key player, shooting 46% from the field to rack up 20 points and five rebounds.

Adair County's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Cumberland County, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Adair County is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Campbellsville at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cumberland County, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Evangel Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
