Soccer Recap: University Has No Trouble Against Colonial

After failing to score in their last game, University made sure to put some goals up on the board against Colonial on Friday. They blew past the Colonial Grenadiers 5-0. The match marked the Cougars' most dominant win of the season.

They hit Colonial with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Noam Davila (2), Sarit Cielo, Zoe Losman, and Ker'Miah Similien.

With the victory, University broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-11. As for Colonial, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

University and Colonial could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. University will take on Boone at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday down 276 places (492 vs. 216). University is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Meanwhile, Colonial (ranked 497th) will meet Hagerty (ranked 69th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
