Tri-Valley took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Sheridan, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Scotties won by a set and slipped past the Generals 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Scotties have posted since September 9, 2024.

Tri-Valley was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-15, 18-25, 19-25, 25-16, 15-9.

Sheridan's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ella Thomas, who had 15 assists and eight digs, and Mauri O'Brien, who had ten kills, ten digs, and two blocks. O'Brien is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in each of the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Grace Stoltz, who had 15 digs and seven assists.

Tri-Valley is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Sheridan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.
