Shelton beats North Haven for their third straight win

Recap: Shelton Gaels vs. North Haven Nighthawks
On Friday, The Shelton Gaels faced the North Haven Nighthawks in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Shelton came out on top against North Haven by a score of 14-7. The win was familiar territory for Shelton who now have three in a row.
It was another big night for David Dojlidko, who rushed for 177 yards while picking up 11.1 yards per carry. Dojlidko really tore up the turf during one magnificent 83-yard run.
Shelton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for North Haven, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shelton will take on Hamden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamden is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for North Haven, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cheshire at 7:00 p.m. Cheshire is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
