Volleyball Game Preview: Las Lomas Knights vs. Amador Valley Dons

The Las Lomas Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Amador Valley Dons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Las Lomas will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Las Lomas is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over San Ramon Valley. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since March 8th.

Meanwhile, Amador Valley entered their tilt with Dublin on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Gaels.

Amador Valley was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 21-25, 25-17, 25-13.

Amador Valley's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-10. As for Las Lomas, their victory bumped their record up to 21-8.

Las Lomas might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Amador Valley when the teams last played back in April. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
