Franklin County Tech's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Mohawk Trail Regional Warriors a 4-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won nine in a row.

Hannah Gilbert was a major factor no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Lindsey Taylor was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Franklin County Tech's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Mohawk Trail Regional, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Franklin County Tech will venture away from home to face off against Pathfinder RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mohawk Trail Regional, they will host Hopkins Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
