Football Recap: Topeka Trojans vs. Pittsburg Dragons
A win for Topeka just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They lost 49-24 to the Pittsburg Dragons. The Trojans' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.
Pittsburg had a senior duo take command as Carsen Nickelson rushed for 74 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries and Nate Mitchell rushed for 166 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. Those 166 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Mitchell.

Both might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,040 yards in their previous games.
