Basketball Recap: Oshkosh North Takes a Loss

Oshkosh North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 79-41 loss at the hands of the Neenah Rockets. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 264th, while the Rockets are ranked 69th).

Oshkosh North's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Neenah, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Oshkosh North will square off against Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln at 2:00 p.m. on February 15th. Neenah has already played their next game (against Larimore), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
