Basketball Recap: Tse' Yi' Gai Takes a Loss

Tse' Yi' Gai was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Pine Hill Warriors 98-44. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dine Warriors of the 68-26 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Several Dine Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was LaDainian Werito, who posted 17 points. Werito's afternoon made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marshall Chaco, who earned nine points.

Tse' Yi' Gai's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Pine Hill, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-9.

Tse' Yi' Gai will challenge To'hajiilee at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. To'hajiilee has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 207 points over their last three games. As for Pine Hill, they will face off against Reserve at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
