Volleyball Recap: Herron Comes Up Short

Herron was the 3-0 winner over Mooresville when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Achaeans fell 3-1 to the Pioneers on Thursday. The Achaeans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Herron started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-13, 25-14, 25-22.

Herron's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Mooresville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Herron will face off against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mooresville, they will welcome Center Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
