Basketball Game Preview: Rocket City Falcons vs. Mt. Pleasant Christian Lions

Having just played yesterday, the Rocket City Falcons will jump right back in to play the Mt. Pleasant Christian Lions at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, Rocket City turned things around against Calvary Academy on Wednesday. They blew past the Warrior 65-43. The Falcons not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 28th.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Mt. Pleasant Christian rose to the challenge back in February. They secured a 68-64 W over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Rocket City's win bumped their record up to 11-21. As for Mt. Pleasant Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.

Rocket City was able to grind out a solid win over Mt. Pleasant Christian in their previous meeting back in January, winning 51-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rocket City since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
