Basketball Recap: Ithaca Takes a Loss

Ithaca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Elmira Express, falling 71-37. The Little Red were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-15.

Ithaca's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Elmira, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

When Ithaca and Elmira next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Ithaca will try to stop Seton Catholic Central's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Elmira will face off against Binghamton and their four-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
