Softball Recap: Poly Comes Up Short

Poly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roosevelt Rough Riders.

Poly saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was ISABELLA NAVARRO, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Poly's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Roosevelt, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Poly and Roosevelt will both be playing Eagle Rock the next time they take the field. Roosevelt will head out to face Eagle Rock at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Poly will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
