St. Charles and Chatfield are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Saints will host the Gophers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Charles' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Chatfield's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

St. Charles blew Lake City out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Lake City got their revenge. The Saints fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Saints' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Chatfield had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Falcons.

St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Chatfield, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

St. Charles got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April against Chatfield by a conclusive 8-2 score. Do the Saints have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Gophers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
