Amity Regional entered their tilt with Hand on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Amity Regional not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hand between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-17.

Amity Regional's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lily Simons led the charge by getting 13 digs and one assist. Simons has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Noralynn Bosma, who had five digs and five aces.

Amity Regional was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Amity Regional's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Hand, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
