Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arizona Lutheran Academy). They blew past the Heritage Academy Heroes 27-14 on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Coyotes needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

The team relied heavily on Colton Pennington, who went 5-for-6 with one home run, six runs, and five RBI. Those five hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Urbieta, who got on base in five of his seven plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Arizona Lutheran Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Arizona Lutheran Academy's record now sits at 11-12. As for Heritage Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-10-1 record.
