Evergreen has gone  a perfect 10-0 against Foster recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Monday. The Wolverines will head out to  challenge the Bulldogs  at 3:30  p.m. Evergreen's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8  runs per game  this season, so Foster's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Last Wednesday, Evergreen was able to grind out a solid  victory over Highline, taking the game  7-2.
 Quinn Wiler was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 1.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Wiler was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Quincy Eastman, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.  Kevin Martinez was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Foster was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They fell  16-11 to Lindbergh. Even if the Bulldogs couldn't come away with the  win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
  Josue Delgado made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4. Those  runs marked the first that  he  scored this season. Another player making a difference was  Alan Flores, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 Foster's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Evergreen, their record is now 6-2.
 Everything went Evergreen's way against Foster in their previous meeting  back in March, as Evergreen made off with  a  15-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
