Softball Recap: Pequea Valley Comes Up Short

Pequea Valley fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Kennard-Dale on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 5-4. The defeat leaves the Braves still looking for their first win of the season.

Pequea Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Kennard-Dale, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Pequea Valley will head out to challenge Conestoga Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Kennard-Dale, they will host Northeastern at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bobcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.75 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of.
