Baseball Recap: Williamsburg Comes Up Short

Williamsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 8-5 to the Grinnell Tigers. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 9-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in June of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Williamsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Grinnell, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-17 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Williamsburg beat the Tigers by a score of 12-11 later that day.
