Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matchups, Bloomfield finally came back down to earth on Friday. They were beaten by the Wausa Vikings 66-27. The Bees were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-13.

Bloomfield's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jacob Smith, who posted eight points, and Benjamin Dodge, who put up seven points.

Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Wausa, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-2.

Looking ahead, Bloomfield will square off against Creighton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bloomfield is facing Creighton at the right time seeing as Creighton is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Wausa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
