Baseball Recap: McKeesport Tigers vs. Woodland Hills Wolverines
McKeesport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Woodland Hills Wolverines, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-2 last Tuesday.

Mason Gergely made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-2. Gergely is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least two every time he's taken the field this season. Tyler Reigh also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
McKeesport's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Woodland Hills, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKeesport will welcome Gateway at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodland Hills, they will host Jeannette at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
