Basketball Recap: Jackson Takes a Loss

Jackson lost a heartbreaker to Adena when they met back in January of 2023, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Jackson Ironman/Ironladies came up short against the Adena Warriors, falling 47-27. While losing is never fun, the Ironman/Ironladies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 728th, while the Warriors are ranked 298th).

Jackson dropped their record down to 0-12 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Adena, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Jackson will face off against Vinton County at 5:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Adena, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Southeastern at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
