Basketball Recap: West Allis Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pius XI Catholic last Tuesday, West Allis Central came back down to earth. The West Allis Central Bulldogs took an 82-72 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Berlin West Vikings on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bulldogs came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Vikings are ranked 67th).

West Allis Central's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for New Berlin West, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

West Allis Central has already played their next match (against Totino-Grace), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for New Berlin West, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-39 defeat against Pewaukee on the 11th.
