Softball Recap: Leipsic Takes a Loss

Leipsic was the 10-3 winner over Ottoville when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Big Green on Tuesday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leipsic's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Ottoville, their record is now an identical 2-9.

Looking ahead, Leipsic will face off against Elmwood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Royals have averaged an impressive 12.3 runs per game this season. As for Ottoville, they will square off against Lincolnview at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Big Green surely won't give up without a fight.
