Softball Game Preview: Rock Hill Blue Hawks vs. Prosper Eagles

The Rock Hill Blue Hawks will take on the Prosper Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Rock Hill managed to slip by Plano West the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Rock Hill came up short against Plano West on Friday, falling 7-1. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Blue Hawks couldn't push the score so high this time.

Rock Hill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aliyana Sanchez, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Prosper was able to grind out a solid victory over Plano East on Friday, taking the game 5-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Prosper pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for Rock Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
