Baseball Recap: Lakeside School's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to 12

Lakeside School came tearing into Tuesday's contest with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Abbeville Christian Academy Generals. The Chiefs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 26 games by six runs or more this season.

Not much got past Boston Brown, who gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Abbeville Christian Academy off the board. Brown has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Tyler Mark Bullock was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Conner Britton was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Bullock wasn't the only one making solid contact: Lakeside School kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 11 consecutive matchups.

Lakeside School pushed their record up to 41-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Abbeville Christian Academy, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 14-14.

Lakeside School will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Generals: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
