Volleyball Recap: Animo Pat Brown Comes Up Short

Animo Pat Brown lost against WISH Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gryphons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Owls. The Gryphons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Animo Pat Brown came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 22-26, 25-22, 25-23.

Animo Pat Brown's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-5. As for WISH Academy, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Animo Pat Brown is set to challenge their familiar foe Animo Venice at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, WISH Academy will face off against rival Animo Watts at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
