Soccer Recap: Islamic Foundation Victorious

Islamic Foundation's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Chicago Hope Academy 3-2.

The win got Islamic Foundation back to even at 1-1. As for Chicago Hope Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Islamic Foundation will venture away from home to square off against Walther Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Islamic Foundation will be up against Walther Christian Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.8 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Chicago Hope Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 9-0 defeat against Bishop McNamara on the 15th.
