Basketball Game Preview: The Covenant Preparatory School Knights vs. Founders Christian Falcons

The Covenant Preparatory School and Founders Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Covenant Preparatory School Knights will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Founders Christian Falcons at 7:30 p.m. The Covenant Preparatory School is looking for their season's first win.

Back in December of 2024, The Covenant Preparatory School was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-47 to Faith West Academy. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1495th, while the Eagles are ranked 732nd).

Meanwhile, Founders Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 66-54 to Calvary Baptist.

Founders Christian's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4. As for The Covenant Preparatory School, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

The Covenant Preparatory School couldn't quite finish off Founders Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 and fell 62-60. Thankfully for The Covenant Preparatory School, Cody Baker (who went 6 of 15 on his way to 20 points along with six assists and five boards) won't be suiting up this time.
