Newport Central Catholic hadn't done well against Campbell County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Thoroughbreds came out on top against the Camels by a score of 28-21. This was payback for the Thoroughbreds, who suffered a 29-28 defeat the last time these two teams met.
