Baseball Recap: Sidney Comes Up Short

Sidney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Griswold Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Cowboys have lost by just one run.

Sidney's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Griswold, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sidney is set to face off against their familiar foe Essex at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Griswold will square off against rival Stanton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
