Basketball Recap: Schalmont's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Schalmont can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-56 win over the Cohoes Tigers. The Sabres have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The victory got Schalmont back to even at 1-1. As for Cohoes, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Schalmont will be playing at home against Troy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cohoes, they will face off against Ichabod Crane at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
