Football Game Preview: Idaho City vs. Wilder

On Friday Idaho City take on Wilder at 7:00 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.

Idaho City might be getting used to good results now that the squad have six wins in a row. They steamrollered Rimrock 66-20. Senior Jake Sharp, who rushed for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Idaho City's success. This marked the 4th matchup in which Sharp has rushed for over 100 yards.

Meanwhile, Wilder were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They took the match and then some with a 52-8 victory last Friday over Notus. Followers of Wilder probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.

Their wins bumped Idaho City to 6-0 and Wilder to 5-1. These are two of the top teams in the state, so whatever the outcome when they meet, this is not one you'll want to miss.
