Basketball Recap: North Bend Has No Trouble Against Estacada

There's no place like home for North Bend, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Estacada Rangers by a score of 55-42 on Monday. The game marked the Bulldogs' most dominant win of the season so far.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Bend to victory, but perhaps none more so than Owen Bascom, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds. Hunter Christensen was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

North Bend smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

With the victory, North Bend broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7. As for Estacada, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

North Bend wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-50 win against Siuslaw on the 30th. As for Estacada, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-50 victory against Seaside on the 26th.
