Recap: Cherokee vs. Smoky Mountain
After a 9-0 finish the last time they played, the Cherokee Braves and the Smoky Mountain Mustangs decided to play a little more cautiously this time around. Cherokee fell 2-0 to Smoky Mountain on Wednesday. Cherokee has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Cherokee's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Smoky Mountain, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cherokee will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Murphy at 6:00 p.m. on March 7th. As for Smoky Mountain, they will challenge Brevard at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
