Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gregory). They enjoyed a cozy 51-33 win over the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Gorillas' disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Titans are ranked 26th).

Gregory is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-10 record this season. As for Mt. Vernon/Plankinton, they moved to 11-3 with that defeat, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Gregory will welcome Parkston at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton has already played their next contest (against Hanson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
